So it's been exactly 1 year, 1 month and 2 days since my last submission here, I know that I've abandoned this place but it seems that through all these years I'm lacking readers and subscribers, but it doesn't really matter to me, I've been using this place mostly as a journal :)

Anyway... about my recent activity, I've obviously shifted from the iOS category and i don't own an iPhone anymore, just an iPad which i didn't update since the day i first bought it. There is really no specific reason for abandoning that field, except the fact that I'm bored. I still remember the days when i was working on my iPhone E-book, it was a real pain, each time i finish a chapter, a new iOS update comes out and most of my work is considered outdated, i guess that's one of the main reasons why i stopped working on it, other than the fact that i lost my e-book files.

My interests are mainly editing, video editing, graphics, 3D design, visual effects, etc..
It's been almost a year and i think I've done pretty well, some of my work is published on my second youtube channel (www.youtube.com/spammyvidz), but the majority of my projects are not there, I've done a reasonable deal of projects and i abandoned some of them due to the lack of interests or other reasons.

So right now I have nothing to do, it's holidays season, and i have no projects to do, if you have anything that needs to be done, any video to edit (real life clips, gaming, etc.), any picture that needs to be edited, or if you are interested in doing some work together please contact me @ Mustafastation@gmail.com , i would gladly help.

iOS 4.2 on iPhone 3G should run faster

As everyone are now waiting for the IOS 4.2 Apple received so much negative feedback from iPhone 3G users running on iOS 4.x, I personally wrote this topic right after I installed it on my 3G (http://iraqtigers.blogspot.com/2010/06/ios-4-installed-on-iphone-3g.html) , users claimed that apple intended on purpose to make it run slow so they force them to buy the 3GS or 4 ,but apple declined and satiated that 3G users will definitely have faster performance on 4.2

Also few hours ago apple released iOS 4.2.1 for developers, although 4.2 is not released yet, I think because 4.2 will be released in few hours from now, I hope I'm right so I can test it out on my 3G

Hello again

Ever watched a trailer of your favorite movie upcoming sequel, or just a movie that's too damn good? That's how I feel about few upcoming movies that I just can't to wait, on top of my list is Meet the parents upcoming sequel little fockers, that movie series Is my favorite and I really can't wait for December to watch it.
The other movie is Sherlock holmes part 2 , they movie is pretty good and it mixes up comedy with action in a very creative way, sometime in 2011 it will be released.

I've got a huge list in my mind of the movies I can't wait to see but I just can't think of any at the moment. What are some of the movies you can't wait for?

In other news.....
I started reading the second part of a series of unfortunate events book series and I can tell that it's definetily as good as the first, I finished reading about 150 pages so far and the story just keeps getting more interesting!

Well today 15th of september I finished reading the first part of a quite interesting series, I think many of you know the movie A series of unfortunate events , well it's one of my favorite movies and I really don't want to exaggerate and say it's the top on my list because I got many others and I think 300 Spartans is on top of them , let's not go off topic here :P.
Anyway as I was saying A series of unfortunate events is a great movie and really fun to watch , I won't tell you the details of course because I don't want to spoil it, but the title is almost self explanatory .

I came across this book in my iPad iBook library , the series consists of 9 parts , each part is length varies from 200 to 700 pages. I thought that i had a background about the way the sequels are going because I watched the movie , but actually I was totally wrong, the book sequels go almost in a totally different way than the movie, but the same story background of course.

I really had much fun reading the first part of the book, now that I finished reading the first part , tomorrow hopefully I should start the second, I hope it's as interesting as the first.

Well i found a new idea to write about stuff, song of the month, i will write about my favorite song for the current and explain it a bit and why i liked it.

Well it's not usual for me to listen to Megadeth songs although i got 2 of their albums in my music library, i came across this song because of it's amazing lyrics, you can understand the song from the title, Prince of Darkness is a term used in John Milton's poem Paradise Lost, published in 1667, referring to Satan .

In this song the lyrics describe the evil devil and his ways of turning our lives into misery, by betraying our trust, filling our minds with his lies and taking away the ones we love, the lyrics are just perfect. The other reason why i preferred this song is because of the strong Bass and drums, they are just perfect and aligned well with the song.

Few information about the PSAT/NMSQT Exam

Hello again

as i mentioned in the previous post, few weeks ago i took the PSAT Test and it was not easy, The scores from the PSAT/NMSQT are used to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

So first of all you must know the basics, the PSAT exam is composed of 5 sections:
2 Mathmatics/ 25 mins each
2 Reading/ 25 mins each
1 Writing/ 30 minutes

Of course when you are preparing for the PSAT exam you MUST read the booklet that they (Your school, instructors, institute, etc.) gave you, it has everything you need to know, that's why i'm not going into the details.

As i experienced the test i find the most difficult part is the Reading(especially 2) and writing, you need to have a strong vocabulary base to understand it, the paragraphs you are given in the reading section are usually about health and science findings and history, they usually got very hard words, so i advice that you focus on learning vocab. basics, and about the math it's very easy , probably math 1 section is the easiest one, it's all about your algebra and geometry basics.

Hello there

It's been months since i last wrote to you, well that's because of several reasons, on the top is the loss of my 512HDD ! , yes i lost all the data on it, more than 410GB of data from movies, guides, tutorials and softwares, it was a tragic accident, i also lost inspiration to do everything, lately i'm just surfing around the internet participating in forums and youtube, i will try to get my self backup and start again.
The second reason is the school, school is taking over me especially with these exams, few weeks ago i took the PSAT Exam, it was hard as hell, although i studied for it for more than a week.

Anyways I'm here to inform you that i will try to write here as much as possible and i will try to change the way i write, i will try to write about daily life events, not just tutorials and technology articles.

iOS 4 installed on iPhone 3G

So yesterday i updated my 3G to iOS 4 , i read about all it's features and multitasking so i decided to give it a try.

I installed it and jailbroke the Phone , no custom firmware, original. i tested it but i was really disappointed, first of all, all the features of 4.o can be installed on previous firmwares by jailbreak the phone, Even multitasking!, the reason i was most disappointed about is the speed, my 3G was running slightly slow, much slower than 3.1.2 , and it was really annoying, switching apps, sliding pages, wasn't comfortable at all.

So overall if your not a jailbreak fan then 4.0 is the best for you with all it's cool features, if you are, you can get access to all 4.0 features just by searching.

Hello,

Recently i faced a problem with my 2 partitions, when i formatted my computer and installed windows 7, i created 2 partitions, C and D, i was supposed to make C 350 GB and D 80 GB, but i accidentally inverted it and i installed the windows C had all the system and windows installations and image/backup , etc..
its known if your windows partition is filled, the computer runs slightly slow, so i tried to find a solution for my problem, and i found it on yahoo answers.
anyway i will explain it here.

Before we start i'd like to notify that i made a video about this and its going to be uploaded soon, work under progress.

First of all, i'm going to write a summary of what im going to do, im Going to Delete a partition and will merge it to the other partition.

So make sure the partition you are going to delete is recovered of important information or stuff you need.

Now go to Start menu. right click on Computer and click Manage, Now you have opened Computer management, search on the sidebar on the left for Disk Management.

Click it, now below you can see a list of your partitions and the space they occupy, right click on the partition you are planning to delete, and click delete. Click OK, the partition is now deleted, there is an extra space unoccupied, so right click on your main Partition, and click Extend, and click OK all the way.

Good luck , and wait for the video to be done and uploaded.

Windows 7, Faster, Better, but not enough

Hi

Recently i've upgraded my device to windows 7, and i've noticed new cool features, such as windows control, Easier/simpler UAC, Faster Performance, its not Resource hungry OS, etc...

But 7 is a new OS Version and there should be much more features than Vista, for example when Windows NT was upgraded to XP(or XP to vista), it was like a totally new OS, almost completley different, and the most important thing that people will look at is the theme, Win7 barley changed the vista theme.

on the other hand the performance is imporved, and it has a great new feature which is problem step recorder, Problem step recorder is an ordinary screen caption recorder, just like hypercam, but instead of calling the service center telling them the problem, now you can record it and send it, the troubleshooting of win7 is great and it almost covers all the questions.

As im free of any projects right now, but still busy in real life, im preparing for a simple project called Warez Library, im going to collect Softwares and post them in a library with download links and serials, i will select random softwares, and it will be updated daily, right now im working on the first Version which will include 10 softwares.

the new logo is still in beta version and can still be changed, both of the logos has the same curved-rectangular shape and colour but their differ in the insider style.

Recently i downloaded a game called Sim City 4 Rush hour, and its about building a city with a very advanced transportation system and economic system, you have to build a city and create a simple, easy and fast transportation system using Roads of many types/Monorail-Metro/Elevated rails and subways/ Bus/ Ferry and more. and create Residential/Commercial/Industrial zones. and provide all services needed such as Electricity,water, Saftey(Police Dep, Firefighters Dep, Medical Centers).
The Game has many other features i didn't mention but its an addicting game and i think the system requirements are suitable for most computer devices.

I created a video on youtube 2 weeks ago about how to download it, so i will explain here how to download it and i will include the video.

First of all you have to get all the 5 parts, download all of them from the 6 servers provided.
of course you can download each part from a different server.

Now, you got all parts right? , Place them in 1 Folder name it w/e you want, Select all of them and click right on 1 of them and click "Extract here" wait a while.
Now when the extracting is done, you should get a file called "Sim City 4" open it, now inside the file locate "install.bat" open it, type 1 and click Enter.
Wait for the install to complete, wait a while.
After the install is completed , you should get another folder called simcity 4 inside the simcity 4 folder, open it and click on the folder Apps, locate Sim City 4 and play!

Hello fellows

Im finally back after 1 month, that was all because changing my computer, i had a Dell laptop now i got a Gateway MD7802H :D , its much better than the old one, anyway i was moving my files and data, my work and i installed main programs, anti viruses, some games, AND of course i didnt forgot to take care of the blog and the related work, so the forums are Done and i made 2 video lessons published on youtube but i will publish them here too, i also made some other lessons/downloads will be published sooner.

The unfortunate event that happened to me when i was moving my files, i accidentally lost the most important thing i was working on... my iPhone book, i was done and i was really exited to publish it, it was just perfect and well written..

Today is 2nd of September, and its the day where i should compelete my Book, i hope and The iraqi tigers forums :D, well yes, every blog needs a forum, and i decided to create the iraqi tigers forums, its about almost everything, General, Gaming, Programming, Scripting, Programs, etc.

The Book's Progress

Hey,

Remember the iPhone Beginner Collection book?, Everything is going very well, im done of 1 section which is the "iPhone Setup" help, Im right now doing the second section "Using your iPhone" which is the section that will contain most topics, there are many tricks and stuff much people beginners or regular users never heard about them, all the topics were written in .rtf (Rich Document Text) its a text file which allows much stuff like editing color or something, but later i thought that maybe Mac users wont be able to use .rtf files, so i rewriting all my topics to a new type .HTML, it will take long though to type for every sentence and

for every line, but it worth it, now i realized the advantage of .HTML!, i added pictures, videos, line breakers, and much more.

So far i have done 14 lessons out of 24 lessons in total, i might add more than 24, anyway im slower than i expected because some urgent stuff occurred during this month and i dont have much time to work on everything,

there are 24 lessons distributed in 4 sections.

What is 3.0.1 Firmware

Hi

Yes you have all seen the update on iTunes!, 3.0.1 !, but dont expect much! its just a simple update to block the SMS virus bug, but some says that its still not blocked yet, and the virus is still running.

and here comes the most important part: is the firmware jailbreakable and unlockable after the update?

Yes its!, its the first firmware where apple doesnt update the baseband, you can still jailbreak your iphone with redsn0w and unlock it with ultrasn0w safely.

any other updates other than the SMS virus bug blocking?
as far as we know , None.

Should i update to 3.0.1?
yes if you are interested in keeping your phone safer from these viruses

Hey,

You know it's always easier to check whats new with 1 click, instead of visiting the whole website!, that's why i have created the new feed and subscription, they both do the same job,

if you subscribed by using the (subscribe) button you will receive ever new in this blog, (Eg. you subscribed with iGoogle, you will get the latest posts in a window in iGoogle!)

about the Feed it's a link you add to your bookmark and if you clicked it, it will show a list of latest posts without going to the page!

Press the Subscribe button and a window will pop-up asking you to add the blog feeds to your bookmarks .

How to create a simple / joke virus

hey

This is my first lesson in July and i know it's not really useful :( , but something is better than nothing, i already posted this in a video in Youtube, it's about how to create a fake joke virus and not harmful, it only shuts down the computer when you open the file

To create it right click on your desktop

go to New
go to New Shortcut
Type in Shutdown.exe for a simple shutdown
or
type in shutdown -s -t 200 -c "Your message goes here" for a shutdown that's 200
seconds long, you can change the 200 to another number and you can change the message

then click next in the other part
Name it what ever you want and click ok

then to change the icon right click on the fake virus
properties
then
change icon
and choose an icon

Dev Team Can jailbreak your iPhone 3G[S]!!!

Summary:

Dev Team can jailbreak the 3GS right now. But making their jailbreak public at this point in time would benefit relatively few people. It would in fact be detrimental to many more people than it would help. So they feel it’s best to keep their version of the jailbreak out of Apple’s sights for the time being, if apple found out the exploit, they will definitely fix it in the next version 3.0.1, so they will wait for apple to release the firmware and they will release the jailbreak, what a clever idea!

Hi again,

i always wanted a team to work with, sharing the ideas, information, lessons
and a team that can help me and i can help them, i thought about making my own team, made of few members who know how to use computer well, and know how to provide everything the people ask for, (programs, lessons, etc..)
i'm using The Iraqi Tigers name since 2004 but the fact there is only 1 tiger :( , it's time to grow and bring the life to the Iraqi Tigers :)

Ultrasn0w for iPhone 3G is ready!

Ensure you have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0
Jailbreak your iPhone 3G using redsn0w or PwnageTool (this will also install Cydia/Icy)
Run Cydia or Icy
Please add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia or Icy. That last “o” is actually the number zero “0”! If you use the letter “o” you’ll get an error.
Search for ‘ultrasn0w’ in cydia or icy and install ultrasn0w
Reboot your iPhone 3G
T-Mobile USA users should disable 3G before using ultrasn0w

redsn0w is an easy to use, multi-platform, multi-device jailbreaking and unlocking (iPhone 2G only) tool for the iPhone 2G (original iPhone), the iPhone 3G (but not the 3GS) and also the iPod touch (first and second generation). Currently it is available for Windows and Mac OS X (there are some issues using redsn0w with OS X PPC, please use an Intel Mac until we have this problem resolved).

REDSN0W PROVIDES SIMILAR FUNCTIONALITY TO QUICKPWN.

If you want to build custom firmware files with more flexibility it is suggested that you use ‘PwnageTool’ on Mac OS X.

GOLDEN RULE: If you are using a 3G iPhone with yellowsn0w and rely on yellowsn0w to obtain cellular service, then you should NOT use redsn0w right now. Ultrasn0w (the 3G carrier unlock) is not included with this release and therefore your baseband will be locked and unable to use an operator other than the official one it was bought for. UltraSn0w will be released via APT (cydia and icy) soon. If you have an original iPhone (1st generation) then 3.0 carrier unlock works with this redsn0w release.
Yellowsn0w in its current form will NOT work with the baseband version that is present in the 3.0 update, you will need Ultrasn0w, which will be released sometime soon, Ultrasn0w will work with all iPhone 3G models (but not 3GS), even ones that were previously unlockable, Ultrasn0w (when available) will be released via APT (this means you will be able to get it via Cydia or Icy).
Please read all parts of this post before downloading and using these tools.
Read items 1, 2 and 3 again and again.
At the bottom of this post are the bittorrent files for the latest version of redsn0w.
This app is suitable for the recent 3.0 release
redsn0w will NOT work for the iPhone 3GS.
redsn0w WILL work for Original iPhone (1st Generation), Original iPod touch, iPod touch 2G and the iPhone 3G (not the iPhone 3GS).

To use redsn0w simply upgrade the device in iTunes to firmware version 3.0 and run redsn0w to activate and jailbreak the device (and if you are using an original iPhone 2G, it will unlock it too!)

Hey!

After long waiting, apple finally released the official (Not beta!!!) 3.0 firmware, and it has so many new features!, including MMS, Copy paste , spotlight search, and many other stuff!

On the other hand Dev Team has released two new tools for Jailbreaking and unlocking!, and they work perfectly, i upgraded to 3.0 and my iPhone 3G is jailbroken and unlocked

the new tools are called
Jailbreaking tool is called RedSn0w
Unlocking tool is called UltraSn0w

When you jailbreak your iPhone with RedSn0w you will see 2 new Apps (Cydia and Icy)
after that you should download ultrasn0w to make your iPhone work with any Carrier ,..
